It has a high resolution 4.5K sensor that records in 16 bit Redcode RAW, is able to capture up to 16.5 stops of dynamic range, has a wide variety of shooting speeds for capturing slow and quick motion, and it has a modular cable-free body for flexible rigging options. Additionally, the camera uses an optical low pass filter to prevent aliasing; ensuring that your captured image is as clean and sharp as you need it to be, without looking unnatural. ATOMOS NINJA V
The Panasonic LUMIX S5 is a modern hybrid mirrorless camera, and when paired with the Atomos Ninja V External Recorder, it becomes a very capable camera that can be rigged as a cinema camera. In this configuration, it is able to record up to 5.9K 12 bit ProRes RAW straight from its full frame 35mm sensor. The camera also is capable of capturing up to 14 stops of dynamic range, can be rigged up or rigged down with to meet different shooting needs, has flexible shooting options for a wide variety of lenses and resolutions, and it is a very versatile low-light camera.
